"I notice carmel and vanilla smells, followed by nectar. There is a mild tingle at the tip of the tongue and a light sweetness everywhere else with the first sip and hints of sweet peaches. the next sip was sweet, but not overpowering at all, and then it was like the spice from my meal combined with the wine completely opened up. Fantastic! My meal is grilled shrimp dusted with fresh cilantro paired with brown steamed rice and asian vegetables, spiced up with red chili flakes. We dipped the shrimp in a citrus garlic sauce which made this wine even more amazing. The two paired are phenomenal." |
