"The 04' Herman Story won 1st place in a blind shootout at the 2007 Hospice du Rhone in Paso Robles. It's immediately evident why it won. It's big, but also complex, balanced and flavorful. Tastes like 16% alcohol but has rich ripe blackberry fruit and some earthy note along with some nice spice, leather and vegetal flavors. Impressive effort for around $25." |
