"Excellent malbec! The wine was really flowing last night! We were sitting next to a stuffy older couple who turned their nose up to our group's tantric conversation! Like i said, this wine was REALLY flowing!! Get over it, lady! You KNOW you wanted your husband to take you home and give you summa that too"

"If you have an opportunity, buy a bottle of this wine! I opened it at a crowded table. Every single person loved it. I even had a couple "This is best wine I've had in a long time" type comments.

The Dona Paula Seleccion easily deserves it's price of $35-50. It's a far cut above most of the $10-15 90 point malbecs widely found and reviewed these days.

Notes of plum and cherry with just a hint of tobacco. Nicely structured and food-friendly on the finish.

Enjoyed this wine with a M'rouzia Tagine at a restaurant called Zitune (see below for a full rant on the place). The Tagine was a lamb shank spiced with ras el hanout, prunes, raisins, almonds and couscous. The Seleccion malbec is a perfect pairing for lamb, especially if the dish has a bit of sweetness to it (ie reduction sauce, etc...)."
