"Not for the faint of heart, the Laughing Buddha cocktail is a lovely concoction made with muddled ginger and fresh chilis. The citrus-infused vodka used as a spirituous base for the drink is much-needed here, and it does the heavy lifting of keeping the raw spice and heat of the other ingredients at bay. That said, this libation still packs a serious (albeit non-alcoholic) kick. Don't be fooled by the inclusion of ginger beer--this thing is for thoughtful sipping, and you will be handsomely rewarded for doing so."

"This is the first drink that I actually crave like I was PMSing or pregnant!!! It is ALL that and a bag of chips! Tried a few other drinks there but still went back to this one. Spicy, Fresh, Bubbly, and lightly Citrus..... perfect drink even when you're feeling under the weather and not up to drinking. It will cure your scratchy throat and refresh your pallet, not to mention give you a nice buzz!!"

"Love love LOVE this cocktail. One of my all time favorites! Very gingery, and can be a little too spicy. However, if you tell them to make it not too spicy, it's pretty perfect."

"This was a well made drink, unfortunately, I'm not a huge fan of ginger which was the strongest flavor in this drink. This drink has a nice kick in the end from the serrano chiles (don't make the mistake of eating one like my drinking buddy).

If you like ginger and spice, this is your drink."

"This was my first drink of the night- I had heard I just HAD to try this drink. It lived up to the hype. Love the spicy serrano chiles and the refreshing flavor of the ginger brew. The sliver of ginger root in the glass was a nice touch too!"

"As soon as I walked in I was advised that this was *the* drink to try at Cantina. I was not disappointed. This was sweet and spicy and full of ginger freshness. We are dying to try to recreate this at home but know that we'll never achieve the greatness they have here!"

Crisp, fresh and spicy. I thought this was the perfect drink to start with so I could get the true feeling for the Cantina cocktail. I was very impressed, particularly with Gabrielle. I thought the balance of the ingredients were spot on and brought a beautiful harmony to each sip. I love spice and you get that from the serrano chile and ginger. This was exactly what I wanted it to be."
